Nvidia Geforce 177.98's Beta Released.
August 24th 2008


There's a new ForceWare driver available on the web (thanks laptopvideo2go) with revision build 177.98.

This driver is available for both Windows XP 32- and 64-bit versions and Windows Vista in 32-bit. This driver set is commonly distributed on many websites and it is receiving pretty good feedback. Bare in mind this to be considered a beta driver, use it at your own risk. NVIDIA does not officially support them.

This driver has a broad support for many GeForce graphics cards and definitely is the latest build available.

It seems that NVIDIA moments ago released a new Beta of their 180.84 GeForce drivers. This is tagged with Beta 3 opposed to the previous Beta 2. It also seems that a lot of stuff for GTA 4 users was fixed.



These drivers support all cards from 6series and up... also keep in mind they do come packed with the PhysX_8.10.13_SystemSoftware!

This is a beta driver for GeForce 6, 7, 8, 9, and 200-series desktop GPUs has been released.

New in Release 185.66:

Adds support for the new GeForce GTX 275 GPU.
Adds support for CUDA 2.2 for improved performance in GPU Computing applications. See www.nvidia.com/cuda for more details.
Accelerates performance in several 3D applications. The following are examples of improvements measured with Release 185 drivers vs. Release 182 drivers (results will vary depending on your GPU, system configuration, and game settings):
