The guys over at Shacknews (http://www.Shacknews.com) had this to say about Atari's (http://www.Atari.com) new PC Game 'Alone in the Dark' (http://www.centraldark.com/index.php) which appears will have SecureROM Activation to play. Lets check it out:
Atari today announced that the PC version of the new Alone in the Dark game will ship with SecureROM activation. Compatible with Windows XP and Windows Vista, the activation process means that following installation, you will have to go online to download an additional component that allows the game to run.
Once the game has been activated, you can play the game while offline. Uninstalling the game and revoking the serial number allows you to install the game on another computer.
Alone in the Dark is already released in Europe, the Eden Games developed survival horror game will be released in North America next week for PC, PlayStation 2, Xbox 360 and Wii.
