Today IGN (http://pc.ign.com) gave us a write up of Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning (www.warhammeronline.com/) with a update for Hands-On which shows EA's Mythic's upcoming MMORPG is looking polished and confident. Lets take a closer look:
If a developer's confidence equated directly to the excellence of a video game, then Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning would easily be one of the best MMOs ever made. There are very few developers as confident or as colorful as EA Mythic's Paul Barnett, the design manager on the long-awaited MMORPG based on the Warhammer Fantasy tabletop universe. Upon seeing us at EA's recent EA3 press event he boldly guaranteed exactly six minutes and 24 seconds of awesome if we sat down to check out his game. As we all know, what matters at the end of the day is the quality and fun of the game and not the exuberance of its designer. Still, Warhammer Online is looking like a very polished and well thought out role-playing experience, and it's still months away from launching.
