The highly anticipated Open Beta of Quake LIVE has begun! After an extensive closed beta period, id's free-to-play version of Quake III, Quake Live, has now entered open beta testing.

The web-based title boasts 40 arenas and 5 game modes, in addition to copious amounts of late 90s nostalgia.

We look forward to hearing from you, playing in matches with you, and most of all hope you and your friends have a great time with the game.
