Needed to purchase a laptop for my flight school and when traveling once my career "takes off".

Reason why a Dell is because I already have an account and I think they make a decent laptop.

Well are you going 32bit or 64bit Vista? Cause 4gigs won't do much good on 32bit but thats fine.. otherwise Adobe reader is free anyway so they just added that to look good for you. You need to get a very good battery... their warranty doesn't cover a battery beyond 90days I think or maybe its 1 year... not sure but best to get the best one they offer to last longer. Also Get the Complete care coverage if you can or if you didn't already...its a extra 150$ but covers you dropping it in a pool or anything you do to it for 4 years!!
