Yeah I worked for them once..just writing a short review so if anyone searchs for ACS Home Entertainment they will find it.
Don't do it... worthless company to say the least. They love to screw the Tech over and out of money anyway they can. They just don't seem to understand that many people, MANY...do not have home phone or internet from the area's in which you cover but if you don't hook them up it hurts your pay. This is unacceptable, happens with many other things including lame CSAT scores you get when someone hits the wrong numbers on the surveys. Lets also not forget they just love to slam you with so much work or come up with excuses to make you go to places to attempt installs when nobody is there not paying you for the drive time. I've had them call a customer's home when it was freezing rain and too slick to work safe off a ladder (that was required to do it) and talk them into having me do it then anyway when I told them several times it wasn't safe and we were rescheduling.
Again - avoid this company, don't even sign into nothing they say! When they won't even supply half of the expensive work equipment and force you to buy it yourself that should tell you something. They just don't care about their techs so it turns into a revolving door of people in and out and very quickly at that. Ask any of them you see that work there and most will hardly say over a year's time. Dish network should pull their business from this Regional service provider and contract it out to someone else that knows how to run a business and treat its employee's better.
Ohh also don't forget, you may work every single holiday that comes up including xmas as they don't care about you're family either. They would rather max you out all day into the night time hours (no lights provided) so you are working in unsafe conditions and that should be covered by OSHA, but to do that than let you get home at a reasonable time to see you're family.
If they were really investigated enough by the labor board and OSHA they would likely get shut down too!
